Staff, location, style and standard
very narrow double bed next door's bathroom very noisy through wall
Traditonal spanish environment
We thought the Casa was fantastic - perfect location, lovely old house with great character and delightful staff - all for a very reasonable price - would certainly visit again
Delightful small hotel, perfectly situated within the Abazin area but also adjacent to Plaza Nueva. Charming Moorish styled hotel. Excellent location for exploring both the city and the Arab and Gypsey area of Sacramente. Excellent for taxi and tour buses. Hammam baths very close. Hotel able to book everything for me and advise me re local bus travel to Malaga. For me it was the perfect plaxce to stay.
Beautiful historical building. Great furniture and cozy ambient. Great hotel staff.
Drain pipes from second floor go through main floor rooms. They are at sight and not in the walls. Lots of noise during the night.
The location was ideal for the Alhambra, the Cathederal and the Albacin. The staff were very helpful. We are very grateful to them for booking the Alhambra for us, when we had problems booking on line from England.
The room had windows onto the alliway which echoed any voices of people walking down it. This wasn't a problem after mid night.
Excellent location. Despite concerns from other reviews found the hotel very quiet. Rooms were a bit smaller than anticipated but meant the air conditioning kept the room really cool, which we needed in the heat! Staff all very friendly and helpful and some nice touches like afternoon tea. Plenty of places in the courtyyards to sit and relax. Close to all main tourist spots and some great resturants with a Flamenco bar at the end of the street, what more could you want.
It was ideally positioned in the Albacyn and easily accessible to the old city and the Alhambra. It is very tastefully decorated in moorish style and has a beautiful calming effect after a hot day touring the city.
About 4 a.m. the staff were laying out breakfast plates etc. which was quite noisy.
the hotel was very clean and friendly and so central ...very Andalucian in style
Great position in the Albaycin, a quiet cosy hotel.
Position and outfit of the old hystorical building.
Just a recommandation to future visitors : if you are traveling by car, do not try to reach the hotel. Find a public parking nearby and pay 5 euros for a taxi. Or 5-10 minutes walk.
Close to the center, nice staff, good breakfast, reasonable price
The bath room sent out bad order which might come from the drainage pipe. Our room stink all the time.
Breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful receptionist
No elevators!! No porter to help carry our 50 lb suitcases 2 flights of stairs up to our room!! Room was very small and hot. Air conditioner not working. Window needed to be open but revelers in the street prevented us from sleeping most through the night. Bed was the most unconfortable we had slept in a long time. Dingy shower stall. While the hotel may be in a quaint location we definitely cannot recommend it to people who have difficulty climbing stairs with their heavy luggage. While we were there the entire courtyard, stairs and handrails were covered in dust which took almost a day to clean up.
I really liked the staff and the location. The laptop they lent me was cool too.
I thought the beds could have been a little more comfortable. The rooms could also use updating but for the price it was worth it.
